Service-Learning

In its purest form, service-learning is a method of teaching that allows students to deepen their knowledge of course content by planning, implementing, and reflecting on a community-service experience. In its most basic form, it is an opportunity for students to be involved in the world outside of UNT by providing a service to the community.
Many UNT faculty incorporate a service-learning component in their class. ECV assists faculty in integrating this effective teaching method into their curriculum and connecting community agencies with faculty and students.
